This unique feature allows you to define a group of presets accessible through the PSS knob. The potential uses of PSS are limited only by your imagination. Create a continuum of presets ranging from those for extremely dense breasts to those for highly adipose breasts. Then with each new patient, “dial up” the best setting and move on. Or, assign settings for each of the views in your complete pelvis protocol and use the PSS as you move from one image acquisition to the next.

When scanning begins, the system anticipates your next move and provides the annotation you want, when you want it. Combined with the PSS feature, Preset Operation makes Preirus a system that understands how you scan.
Hitachi’s dynamic backlit keyboard changes continually as you scan, letting you know through color-coding what features are in use, available or not applicable. Because button lighting is turned off when a feature cannot be used, the Preirus is constantly simplifying its keyboard presenting you only with what you need at that moment.
