HITACHI DEMOS HIGH-FIELD BORE-LESS MRI AT RSNA
CLEVELAND, Ohio (Nov. 24, 2009) — Oasis is proving that Bore-Less High-field MRI is not only the patient's choice, but also the right choice for all clinical settings. Universities including Saint Louis University Hospital, large community hospitals like Saint Mary Medical Center and imaging centers such as The Imaging Center in Lawton, Okla., have all gone Bore-Less. These very different facilities not only see the same benefits for their patients, they also see high-field imaging performed outside of the bore.
"These facilities made the choice to go Bore-Less," according Shawn Etheridge, Marketing Director for HMSA, "so they could be unlimited in terms of clinical performance and patient acceptance. Bore-Less High-field is the clear choice for accommodating bariatric, pediatric, geriatric and even critical care patients. And for the first time these types of patients can be performed outside of the bore on a high-field system."
Hitachi will be demonstrating the capabilities and comfort of Bore-Less MRI at RSNA’s annual conference, South Building, Booth #3429.
