HITACHI’S ORIGIN 2.0 SOFTWARE GIVES ECHELON 1.5T USERS ADDITIONAL MOTION-FREE IMAGING AND PARALLEL IMAGING CAPABILITIES

Hitachi Medical Systems America Inc. is providing its Echelon 1.5T users - at no charge - RAPID™3D and RADAR™ Spin Echo, Balanced SARGE and prime FSE/FIR along with the ORIGIN 2.0 software upgrade.
RAPID 3D provides multi-directional acceleration for parallel imaging. This will enable users to take advantage of higher acceleration factors, and greatly enhance Echelon’s dynamic breast and abdominal imaging capabilities.
RADAR Spin Echo, Balanced SARGE and prime FSE/FIR add to Echelon’s already industry leading motion compensation imaging technique. Users can acquire motion free images in all planes, all coils with a variety of tissue weighting including T1, T2, T2* and IR suppressed.
Additional pulse sequences, clinical capabilities and workflow enhancements are part of the Origin 2.0 software release.
One of the most important differentiating features of Hitachi’s customer support program is its regular provision of no-charge software upgrades that drive new levels of image quality, clinical capability and throughput.
