Flexible Maintenance Programs

Hitachi has devised a system of routine maintenance designed to keep your system operating at its optimum level. Because our Ultra Plus Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA) gives you extended coverage between the hours of 8 AM to 9PM, Preventive Maintenance can take place between 5PM and 9PM at no additional charge. Later preventative maintenance hours can be contracted with a nominal fee.

No Charge equipment parts

Our standard warranty agreement and all full SMAs provide you with free parts, including RF coils, when needed in accordance with the terms of your contract.

99% uptime guarantee

Hitachi guarantees 99% uptime on the operation of your system. In fact, for every quarter covered by your SMA that you’re down more than 1% of the time, you’ll receive an additional month of service free of charge.

Site accreditation support

Under warranty or with an SMA, you can request our Service Engineer’s help in tuning your system for optimal performance as you acquire test phantom images. In addition, our Applications Helpline is available to advise you on parameters, image quality and the submission process, as well as assist in keeping you current with the ever-evolving site accreditation Quality Control program.

Reduced pricing on options

With warranty or an SMA, you receive a preferred discount off the list price of all optional components, including RF coils and other hardware components. This special pricing is just one of the ways that Hitachi helps you keep your system current with new clinical applications.

No-charge software upgrades

Customers under warranty or with an SMA receive operating software upgrades that do not require associated hardware changes at no charge. These upgrades, usually released annually, can provide you with system quality enhancement and clinical capabilities.
